Aqaba .... by land

I have always wanted to name a project or a release after this city in Jordan. The genesis of this desire is twofold. One comes from my time in the valley when we were naming releases after cities, and the other from my affection for one of my favorite films Lawrence of Arabia.

For those of you unfamiliar with one of the most beautifully cinematographic movies that I can recall, the story is something like this:

TE Lawrence is recruited to access situation with regards to the "Arab Revolt" led by Prince Faisal. He feels that he needs to produce a miracle, and that miracle is Aqaba, Aqaba by land! To which Omar Sharif responds.."Truly your mad!"

Anyway, I finally got to do so, name a release that is, and though we do not have to cross the Nefu or the sun's anvil, it does mark the beginning of what I hope is an ambitious project to reshape a huge institution by demonstrating that with a little imagination, a little skill and a little luck these "miracles" can be created. Of course having some "these fifity" helps quite a bit..and here is to hoping to find others who will be willing to join.
